ICCAS facilitates and promotes scientific discussions in different fields, and brings together scientists from academia, government, industry, and the public sector. It is a reference institution in these areas, positioned as a highly reliable forum to generate, collect and discuss scientific data on issues with an impact on public health.
ICCAS’ efforts are channeled through the different Working Groups that are comprised according to the priorities and needs of the areas of interest.
The WGs are the operational core to generate actions, scientific documents and forums. They could be permanent or temporary focused on a specific issue. The latter are dissolved once the work is finished.
The WG are comprised by experts committed to the principles that oversee ICCAS’ work. They come from academic institutions, government agencies, NGOs and companies. They share their knowledge and expertise voluntarily to carry out scientific projects.
The GTs allow the joining of technical-scientific capacities from different fields and are a privileged environment for conversation and discussion of emerging issues relevant to innovation in science.
